Generally I do our laundry on Thursday evenings. If I can't get to it Thursday night, I do it on Fridays. I always have Fridays off.
At our apartment,we have a laundry facility... with 1 washer and 1 dryer. There is also a huge laundry mat one block North of us... what I'm trying to say is there are plenty of places for people in our building to take their laundry.
Yet, whenever I do our laundry in our building somebody keeps interrupting it. I go to switch my loads over and our mystery laundry criminal takes my stuff out of the washer, sets it ontop of the dryer and puts their things in the washer.
They've even gone so far as to take our laundry out of the dryer BEFORE THEY'RE DRY, and finish using our time on the dryer to dry their laundry!!!
I always leave my laundry basket down their. They know I have more clothes to wash. The laundry basket is sitting right in front of them when they choose to disrupt my laundry cycle...
Not only am I extremely annoyed, I'm seriously grossed out.
There's just something about some stranger man-handling my underwear that grosses me out. I don't want them touching, looking at, and whatever else with mine or my husbands underwear.
I personally know 6 of the 12 tenants here. They're my friends. We've all discussed this problem before. And they all agree with me.
I think I have an idea as to who the culprit is... #7, with the blue laundry basket. When I come face to face with them, it's not going to be pretty.

You're totally justified! I would be weirded/grossed out if someone touched my underwear. The only justification I could see for them would be if you left your finished laundry in the machines for a long time, which I don't see you doing. I mean...they could at least fold your laundry if they're going to touch it. haha
Thank you!!! And that's the thing... they always do it when I'm actively doing laundry. I don't have time to leave it in there and let it sit.
It just grosses and weirds me out. EW!

I did not know you had a blog! I am so glad I found it! I have wondering how you have been doing. We still need to get together!
