i've been DYING since the day i found out to write this post.
i'm pregnant with our first baby, due july 4th, 2012...
and we couldn't be happier.
i'm 10, almost 11 weeks now.
we had our first appointment this last friday and baby is happy and healthy thus far.
we find out the gender on jan 5th.
being pregnant has been an immediate adjustment...
between being ridiculously sick + the major bouts of fatigue.
but it's worth every second of it.
[which also explains my lack of online presence]
i don't think there is anything more scary than the thought of becoming a mother.
you made this little life + now it's up to you to teach it everything.
to protect it.
to love it.
i'm terrified...
but in the same breath,
can't wait.
i'm excited to watch my husband become a father.
i'm excited to be our own little family.
i'm excited for all the amazing grandparents + aunts + uncles + cousins our little one will have.
we really couldn't be in a better place.
we really couldn't be any happier.
and to my little baby...
your heartbeat is my favorite song.

Oh my gosh! Congratulations! Btw, I totally called it on your last post; I couldn't help but think you were talking about a little bebe. ;) I can't wait to follow along on your adventures. For some reason, I looove pregnancy posts. Yay!
Congrats! it is the most amazing and wonderful things ever!! Try peppermint water or ginger preggy pop (Babysrus has them) for the sickness!

Congratulations!!! :) And I don't know if your last post was a clue of sorts but it did make me wonder about a little baby heartbeat!! I am so excited for you and can't wait to hear all about your adventures in becoming a mum!!
Congrats, that is super exciting. I am sorry to hear you have not been feeling so good. I am no stranger to that kind of sickness. lots of cold cereal and naps got me through it. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes!

I know this post is a little older... so not sure if you'll see this. But firstly, congratulations! What a special time for you and your loved ones! And secondly, July 4th is the best due date ever! My birthday is on the 4th of July! I also share it with my sister, but she's 12 years older than me... it's kinda crazy how that happened! But really, it's the best day to have a bday... :) But no matter if your little guy is born a few days earlier or later than that... it will forever be the best time of the year!
