pumpkins squares.

all growing up my mom used to make this seriously
AMAZING
pumpkin dessert.
i recently made it for some friends and they all wanted the recipe.
it's easy to make AND super tasty!

pumpkins squares
step 1: the bottom crust
-1 package of yellow cake mix
-1 melted stick of butter
-1 egg
*remove 1 cup of the yellow cake mix and set aside.
to the remaining cake mix, 1 egg and the melted stick of butter, mix well
and press into a 9x13 greased pan.

step 2: the pumpkin middle
-1 large can of pumpkin pie + the spices listed on the can recipe
(cinnamon, ginger, etc.)
-2 eggs
-2/3 cup of milk
-1/2 cup of sugar
*blend well and pour over bottom crust.

step 3: the top crust
-1 cup of sugar
-3 tbsp. of butter at room temperature
-the 1 cup of reserved cake mix
*mix sugar, reserved cake mix and cut butter.
sprinkle over the top.

bake at 350 degrees
for 60 - 70 minutes

serve warm with whipped and/or ice cream.
